Firstly we suggest to confirm the specification parameters are applicable to your vehicles, such as opening size and voltage, this information has been indicated in the listings to ensure that you can use them after receiving the items. Under the condition that the product can be used and functions properly, we expect you to refrain from returning it as much as possible. Normally,there is fan with a proper trim, a remote, screws, manual knob and manual instrutions. If something missing, pls contact us in time.

If you need shorter one, you can use a cutting tool to trim it according to your need, this is a normal practice - not destroying the product and then using it in an improper way. If your need deeper one, We have separately 5.5" deeper trim for offer, pls contact us to get it.

Our exhaust fan is theoretically designed to support roofs with a thickness of 1.5" - 3.3". Some models of camper vans are much thinner than this. In such cases, a wooden frame needs to be pre-made at the opening, similar to a sandwich structure, to meet the installation standards. Pls make sure your power is stable 12-24V DC (If there is red sticker writing 24V support, then it will be ok for 24V), and positive/nagative pole is well connected. If there no any indicator light or beep sound when operate, that means the fan was not powered at all. Firstly, make sure your fan has LED function, then you could activate and switch it by remote control only, there is no button on the fan. Or you can use voice command to operate if the fan support.

First, make sure your fan has voice function. If it is, you need to first say the wake-up command "hello fan", and then it will respond to you. You should then follow the instructions in the manual to use the correct voice commands for operation. Remember, correct command, not the one you prefer in spoken form.

Some fans falls into rain mode when click open, there is 3 beep sounds, for this case, just need to cancel the rain mode. Pls close your lid manually, then restart your power to try, usually, the issue will be solved. If the fan has been used for more than 3 years, you should consider the possibility of the motor gear aging and damage, Usually, this is manifested as the motor making a rotating noise when try to open but the lid cannot be lifted. In such cases, please contact us for replacement.
